Christmas Tags - Shirley Cookiem
Kia Ora! Hello from New Zealand! I’m Shirley Cookiem sharing my first
blog post here, so excited it’s finally the Christmas season, we are
getting warm down in the southern hemisphere though, I love making
Christmas everything, shall we start with some Christmas tags to put
in your December Daily album, your favourite planner or even hang by
the Christmas tree?
I started die cutting some tags using the Teresa Collins Christmas
Story papers as the bases, then die cutting the circles for sneak
windows of Santa and the tree, layered with foam paper and acetate
clear paper to make shakers, adding glitter and vellum small tags,
snowflake with dimensional dots to brighten them up, finished with
tying shimmer and paper twines on them.
Check out the tiny christmas trees, flakes and sequins in the shaker
windows up close!
I love spending Christmas with friends and family even if we need to
stay home this year, so I added two photo frames for some picture
moments, just don’t want to cover up the lovely Santa and life like
trees at the back!
I can’t stop making them, maybe sharing some pendants next week? Have
you started with your Christmas projects yet? Please follow me at
