CLASSY AND ELEGANT LAYOUT - EMILIE CHAMEL

Hi everybody! Emilie Chamel here with a layout created for Teresa Collins Studio.

I loved the super striking black and white dot paper from the Azure Paperie Collection and decided

I wanted to use it as my main background for my layout.

With such a bold and busy background I new I would need to really anchor my photograph to my layout and get it to stand out so I chose another bold paper by tearing a band of the mustard paper from the Bright Side Collection which I can’t get enough of.

I decided to turn my photograph black and white as it would stand-out against the colours I wanted to use but also as then my bold background would work with it rather than against it by being of the same colour.

What brought the layout to life was a lot of layering and fussy cutting. I layered torn rectangles of black and marble paper from the Floral Market Collection with strips of wash tape from the Bright side collection and added details with fussy cut flowers from Bright Side and words accent that I cut-out of Azure Paperie Collection.

I am so in love with this layout which is totally me yet very classy and elegant.
