For this project I made a 8x8 canvas. These are great gifts, and can be customized by changing the color, and sentiments for any occasion. This is the perfect time of year for teacher gifts, graduation gifts and Mother’s Day gifts.
Start with a plain white canvas, any size would work, but I used an 8x8. Next, I cut sentiments from the Azure Paperie Collection, pulled out a few rolls of washi tape from Teresa Collin Favorites 2, Bold Life Be You, and Bright Side, then grabbed some grey acrylic paint, and a paint brush.
After you have collected your supplies, paint your canvas, mine needed a few coats, so while it was drying, I used the Magnolia Die Set to cut flower pieces from the Favorites Paper Collection, and Mon Cheri Paper Collection.
Once the canvas is dry, lay your sentiments out on the canvas, and rearrange until you like what it looks like. I used pop dots to add dimension in a few places, and washi on the bottom, and side. Then for the main attraction I layered the cut flower pieces, curled some of the edges with a pencil, and glued them in place. I added a brad and adhered it to the canvas.
This project is a perfect gift, or a beautiful addition to your home decor. I hope you give it a try, and if you have any questions, reach out to me on Instagram: https://.Instagram.com/kkellerplans
