Mini Album - Lara Scott

I created this little album to hold some of the flower pictures I have taken on several of our trips back home to Hawaii (I was mostly raised on the mainland but Hawaii will always be home for me.) I have been hoarding this collection like I have done with several other past TC collections. This is a 6 x 6 album that is bound with ribbon or seam binding.

Here are the supplies I used: TC Bold paper collection TC Bold stickers Gold Foil vinyl TC Xyron Mega runner Scor-tapefor the binding Ribbon or seam binding 2 small 4” doilies 3 sheets of 12 x 12 cardstock Paper trimmer Stapler Score board

I cut the stars out of gold foil vinyl on my Silhouette using the TC Stars cut file.

You can make this album in other sizes but I went with 6 x 6 since it is the easiest to create.  Cut 2 of the sheets of cardstock in half so you have 4 6 x 12 sheets.  Score 3 of them in half.  Then cut the other 6 x 12 piece in half so you have 2 6 x 6” squares. You will also need to cut a binding piece that is 2 x 6” and score ¾” on each side so you will have ½” in the center. 

Poke holes about 2” apart in the center of each of the 6 x 12” pieces and in the 2” binding piece.  Thread the ribbon or seam binding through each 6 x 12” piece. 

To create the binding use the scor-tape to attach the 2 6 x 6” pieces to the 2” pieces leaving about ¼” space so they are ¼” longer than the 6 x 6” pieces. Thread all the ribbon pieces through the holes and tie on the outside of the book and trim as desired.  Decorate the cover and the pages and you have a quick easy book.
