VISION BOARD WITH PLAYING CARDS - CARYN KIDWELL

Hi Crafty Friends- 

Happy New Year!!!…. I am Caryn Kidwell. This month I created a Vision Board using a Wall Jumbo Playing Cards. The cards are 5 ½ X 7 ½. I chose the Evergreen and Christmas Story Teresa Collins Collections to decorate the mini album. I left space on each card to add photos and journaling. I added a ring and miscellaneous ribbon.

On the Front Cover, I used the front of the Evergreen packaging for the background. Added ephemera from the Evergreen & Christmas Story Collection. I used pop dots to raise some elements of the cover. I added Mod Podge to seal the cover.

I covered the front and back of the Jumbo Cards with black Cardstock. I then used a hole punch to punch each card. I added white reinforcements to each card.

On this card, I used the gold sun burst from the Abundance & Gratitude kit. Added ephemera from both Christmas collections.

I added dimension to this card by cutting out the Santa from the Christmas Story Collection and added pot dots. I finally cut the gold acetate paper I was hoarding. Note: I used the backside which was silver to make the tag. Fuzzy cut the Christmas Tree. Then added it to the card for a pop of color to black and white.

Added Washi Tape to the bottom of the card. Love all the sentiments on the tape. Since I had scrap paper left over, I tore the edges of this paper and added some ephemera.

This paper had diagonal lines, so I cut a diagonal piece and added to the card.

I cut apiece of the acetate to make another card for the album. I added a sentiment on both sides so that you would not see the adhesive.

The back cover I added lots of sentiments. I will add journaling in the tag at the top.

This was a fun, quick mini album project. You can add more embellishments once pictures and journaling are added. I may add a few pages depending on how many photos I take in December.
